Legendary alt-pop band Dog Trumpet return with a brand new single, Live Forever—an upbeat, pop-rock track with a reflective twist.
Written by Reg Mombassa, the song blends catchy melodies with impressionistic lyrics that explore the fear of both good and bad experiences, while questioning the idea of wanting to live forever. It’s thoughtful, a little mysterious, and completely infectious.
Live Forever is the title track from Dog Trumpet’s upcoming ninth album, set for release in July 2025.
Formed by brothers Peter O’Doherty and Reg Mombassa, founding members of Mental As Anything, Dog Trumpet also features Bernie Hayes on bass and vocals, and Declan O’Doherty on drums and vocals.
